What is a Super8 Wedding Video?
A Super8 wedding video is a unique, nostalgic way to capture your wedding day using real Super8 film—a vintage film format that creates a dreamy, cinematic look. Unlike traditional digital wedding videos, Super8 wedding films have a soft, grainy texture, giving your footage a timeless, romantic feel.
How Does Super8 Wedding Videography Work?
Super8 wedding videographers use authentic Super8 film cameras to record your wedding in short reels. Since each reel lasts about 3 minutes, we carefully plan our shots to document the most meaningful moments. After filming, the Super8 film is processed and digitally transferred, so you receive a vintage-style film in a digital version.
What Are the Benefits of a Super8 Wedding Video?
- Timeless Aesthetic: Super8 film has a warm, nostalgic quality that digital video can’t replicate.
- Unique & Artistic: Unlike traditional wedding videos, Super8 wedding films feel more like a handcrafted, cinematic experience.
- Perfect for Florida Weddings: The bright, natural light of Florida enhances the beauty of Super8 wedding cinematography.
- No Overwhelming Cameras: Super8 cameras are small and unobtrusive, allowing for more candid, authentic moments.
